I'm so behind in blogging about things recently....You may remember that I said I "needed" the Jump Rope pattern from Oliver + S...well I got it (of course) and I made View A in a size 8yrs for Maeve.
I love it! Apart from all the ironing it will need...did I ever tell you...I don't iron! Except when I'm sewing!
Maeve has already worn this to a friend's baby's christening. The girls wore their bubble dresses.
The fabric for this dress came from Dots'n'Stripes
The pattern is from The Life Craft...who seem to be very reasonable for patterns and postage to Europe seems very good too. It certainly is the cheapest place I've seen Oliver+S patterns this side of the Atlantic.
The next Oliver + S pattern that I need is the School Photo dress....

looks absolutey gorgeous...wonder if my girl would wear one...
SO cute!! I love the red buttons! I've been fighting the desire to get a couple of O&S patterns. This may be pushing me over the top...
Very pretty! This dress turned out beautiful! I haven't tried O&S patterns. The stuff is cute but kinda limited for boys.
Thanks Zofia..Maeve was a bit unsure about this one when she saw the pattern drawing, but now she really likes it. Thankfully!
Thank you KID MD...These patterns go together really well. They fit well too...everything you need in a pattern...Oh yeah and they look nice too.
Thanks Heather...I know what you mean about the boy thing...I think the sailboat pants and the sandbox pants are good. If I were to chose one it would be the Sailboat ones lengthened.
It looks lovely! I wish it came in big people sizes:)
Such a pretty dress! Does the pattern come in my size, hehe?
Thanks Andrea and Joy...I once saw a Hot Patterns Shirt dress in a ladies size that I was very taken with....Maybe I will look for it again! I have some dark green wool suiting which I think would be wonderful for winter...!
Very nice dress. And her curls are gorgeous!
Thanks Val...and yes her curls are lovely.
